Before a big order
For whole lambs, party quantities or a regular trade order, ask at the counter a day or two before you need it.
What you'll find
A butcher's counter where everything is cut to order: lamb, mutton, beef and chicken, whole and half lambs, and fresh mince made while you wait. Around it, a grocery with basmati from 500g packs to 5kg bags, chapati flour, lentils, a big spice range, pickles and sauces, Afghan and Middle Eastern favourites, and fresh fruit and veg out front.
- Halal lambShoulder, leg, chops, ribs, neck, shanks and mince, and whole or half lambs.
- Halal chickenFillets, boneless thighs, legs, wings, whole birds and hard chicken.
- Halal beefBoneless beef for nihari and haleem, and mince for kebabs.
- MuttonOn the bone, boneless and minced. More flavour than lamb.
